Phelps-Mr. Frederick W. Follette age 79 , of 946 Rt 88 South, passed away on Sunday(March16,2008) peacefully at his home with his family by his side.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Thursday(March 20) at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday(March21) at the funeral home with the Rev. Maxwell Bishop officiating. He will placed to rest in Rose Cemetery.

Frederick was born in Newark NY. on January 1,1929 the son of the late Wallace and Harriet Hickey Follette. He was a Master Sergeant in the US Air Force until 1957, he then became a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Newark NY. After his retirement he loved to paint homes assemble all kinds of puzzles and model airplanes. Frederick also enjoyed traveling to Florida. He enjoyed the out doors with his son and spending as many hours as he could with his three grandchildren. They were the joy of his life.

Frederick is survived by his beloved wife Eleanor Shepherd Follette who he was able to share over 50 wonderful years with.

They have one son Frederick W. Follette Jr. who resides in Penfield with his wife Lauri and their 3 children Jessica, Shaynee and Jacques.

Fred also has 6 siblings; 3 brothers: Harold(Lois) Follette, Robert Follette, and Roger (Ruth) Follette

3 Sisters: Marian(John) Regan, Lucille Baker, Barbara Masclay

Several nieces and nephews

He is predeceased by a sister Betty baker
