Clifton Springs, John G. Ando age 84 formerly of West Main Street, died on Saturday (March 22,) at the Bath V.A. Hospital.

There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday March 31, at 1:30PM at the Canandaigua VA Hospital Building #8 .

John was born on February 22, 1924 in Buffalo NY the son of the late Salvatore and Mary Rago Ando. Step-son of the late Angello Fragello. John was a longtime resident of Clifton Springs. He was an Army veteran of WWII and retired from the V.A. Hosptial in Canandaigua after 43 years of service.

John is survived by his Son John (JoAnn) Ando of King George VA

And their children Jessica and Michael.

Daughter Carol (John) Mathews of Jacksonville N.C. and their children Joshua and Lindsay.

Brother of Fred (Bea) , James (Sara), Sam (Ellie), Donald (Joanne), Anna (Roger) Wise, Joseph (Lillian), Anthony (Lucy), Michael (Pat), David (Sue), Lucretia Adymy, Marian Calandra, Deloris Pingatore, Fred (Mary) Fragello, Angie (Bob) Lelonek, Rose “Curly” Symington also many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Catherine and brothers and sisters.
