Clifton Springs, Mrs. Joyce R. Maley age 77 of Ashton Court died peacefully on Wednesday December 26, 2007 at her son’s home in Tully, New York with her family by her side.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5PM at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday( December 31) at 10 AM at St. Felix Catholic Church in Clifton Springs with the Rev. Donald Curtiss officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Mrs. Maley was born on February 9, 1930 in Syracuse, NY the daughter of the late Howard and Rita Faulkner Rapp.

Mrs. Maley, also known affectionately by her family and friends as “Scooter mom” loved playing cards and loved to gossip. She also enjoyed singing in the Chorus at Ashton Place. After retirement Mrs. Maley enjoyed traveling with her husband and they belonged to various travel groups.
