Friends may call on Saturday March 8, 2008 from 10A.M. to Noon at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral services will follow at Noon with Bishop Kevin Watkins from the Canandaigua Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating. Burial will be private in St. Francis Cemetery, in Phelps.

It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Finger Lakes Community Cancer 6 Coulter Road Clifton Springs, NY 14432.

Mrs. DeBaere was born on May 10, 1920 in Ontario Canada. She is the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Arney Gurnsey. Mrs. DeBaere loved music and was a member of the Fayette Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her daughter Karen (Thomas) Flood of Phelps

She was predeceased by her son Kirk DeBaere who died in 1978.
