Frederick Clark Jr.

 

Clifton Springs, Frederick Clark Jr. 84 formerly of Cress Road in Phelps, died on Wednesday March 9, 2005 at the Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.

Friends may call on Friday from 7-9 PM and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at The Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 PM in the United Church of Phelps with the Rev. Lynn Spence officiating. Burial will be in the Spring in Oaklawn Cemetery.

It is suggested that memorial donation be made to the Phelps Volunteer Fire Department 7 exchange street Phelps, NY 14532 or the Phelps Historical Society 66 Main Street Phelps, NY 14532.

Fred was born on May 13, 1920 the son of the late Frederick and Inez Lefler Clark Sr. He worked for 43 years for Bero construction in Waterloo, and was a member of the Rochester Engineering Local #832. Fred was a past member of the Phelps special police force and was the oldest living member of the Phelps Fire Department. He was a past assistant chief and life member of the fire dept. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and stock car racing.
