Geneva, Claude J. “Bud” Bishop 74 of 2003 Townline Road died unexpectedly on Monday December 26, 2005 at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM ( Sons of the American Legion will meet at 7PM)at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. A celebration of Bud’s life will be held on Thursday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Dobbins Cemetery in Geneva. Family and Friends are invited to the American Legion in Phelps after the funeral service on Thursday.

Bud was born on July 18, 1931 in Geneva, NY the son of the late John A. and Dorothy Parish Bishop. He was retired after 27 years with the Westend Brewing Co in Geneva. Bud was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Seeley B. Parish Phelps American Legion #457 , the Buckhorn Sportsman’s Club and the Fingerlakes Moose Lodge in Geneva. Bud was an avid Outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. He was also an avid bowler.

It is suggested that memorial donations be made to Mercy Flight Central 2420 Brickyard Road Canandaigua, NY 14424.

Grandchildren Jessica A. Bishop, Shane Graham, Jacob Tillman, Carrie (Jeff) Jones Jacquie (Scott) Hauf and Frank Burnell Jr.

Great Grand-children Rachelle Guy, Brianna Jones, Courtney Hauf and Tyler Burnell.
