Phelps,
Edith C. VanCamp age 94 of 23 Ontario Street entered
into Heaven on Saturday October 13,2007 at the House
of John surrounded by her family.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11AM to 2PM at the
Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral
services will follow at 2PM with the Rev. A.J. Tierson
officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mrs. VanCamp was born on December 17, 1912 in
Phelps, New York the daughter of the late Walter and
Anna Salisbury Veeder.
She was a longtime member of the United Church of
Phelps, and a former member of the Newark Grange.
Mrs. Van Camp was the last living member of the
Phelps Central School Class of 1930. She attended RBI
in Rochester and retired from the Newark State School.
Mrs. Van Camp also enjoyed her volunteer years as a
Pink Lady at the Clifton Springs Hospital Nursing
Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57
years William Van Camp and brother Clarence Veeder.
