There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday September 2, at 2PM at the United Church of Phelps with Rev. A.J. Tierson officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Resthaven Cemetery.

It is suggested that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 435 E. Henrietta Road Rochester, New York 14620.

Mrs. Boughtin was born on March 22, 1925 in Clifton Springs, NY the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Franklin Fairman. She was a member of the United Church of Phelps. She was a past Den Mother for Cub Scouts. Mrs. Boughtin loved to play bridge and belonged to several local bridge clubs. She also enjoyed making Christmas ornaments and crafts. Mrs. Boughtin always said she loved and was proud to live in Phelps.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years L. John Boughtin.
