Clifton Springs, Marian Elizabeth Love
entered into eternal rest on Tuesday February 14, 2006
at the Clifton Springs Hospital at the age of 79.
There will be no prior calling hours. Family and
friends are invited to attend her memorial mass on
Saturday February 18, at 2 PM in St. Dominic’s
Catholic Church 6 Canandaigua Street, Shortsville with
the Rev. John Gagnier officiating. Private Burial will
be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Clifton Springs.

Marian was born July 1, 1926 the daughter of the
late Wilson and Margaret Love of Clifton Springs. She
formerly owned Lakeside Printing in Penn Yan, Geneva
Pennysaver and The Merchandiser in Clifton Springs.
Upon her retirement in 1992, Marian enjoyed extensive
travel, the theatre and RPO. She was an active member
of the Catholic Daughters of America, Penn Yan Court
for over 40 years and the Geneva YMCA.
Marian is survived by her sisters Jeanne (Harry)
Lewis of Newark and Sara Jane (Francis) VanOpdorp of
Clifton Springs. Brothers Wayne (Gail) Love of
Canandaigua, Richard Love of Canton, GA, Neil Love of
Sunnyvale, CA and Dale Love of Victor, loving nieces
and nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Funeral arrangements have been made with The Cheney
Funeral Home 70 Main Street, Phelps.
