Marjorie
J. Lindner, RN, 78 years old died peacefully on
January 1, 2007 at the Clifton Springs Hospital &
Clinic. In 1949 she graduated from the Rochester
General School of Nursing and for over 40 years she
compassionately practiced her trade at the Clifton
Springs Hospital and Clinic.
She is predeceased by her father Washington
Merscher, MD, army surgeon WWI, her mother Theda
Merscher, her sister Elizabeth O’Neil, RN, veteran
of WWII and Korea, and her brother William Merscher,
WWII veteran.
She is survived by her five children Michael
(Kathleen), Susan McDonald (Timothy), Gregory (Kim),
Mary Jo Chaney (Leon), and Christopher (Betsy), their
father John P. Lindner, 12 grandchildren and 8 great
grandchildren and many dear and close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday January
5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Clifton Springs United
Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynn Spence
officiating.
