Michael L. Mac Umber

“Warm hearted and adventurous soul”

Shortsville, Michael L. Mac Umber age 45 of 1188 County Road 7 died unexpectedly on Sunday January 15, 2006 in the Town of Barrington.

Friends may call on Thursday (January 19)from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday (January 20) at 11 AM in St. Mary’s Church in Canandaigua with the Rev. Thomas Mull officiating. Burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford.

It is suggested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to St.Marys Church 95 North Main Street Canandaigua NY 14424.

Michael was born on December 2, 1960 in Chandler, Arizona the son of Lorn Mac Umber and Kathleen Dunhaver. Michael was an avid hunter and loved being outdoors and in the woods. He was also a very hard worker and co-owned and operated Kendia Realty. Michael was also self taught in the area of hazardous Mold and became a Certified Inspector for Mold. He was a member of Environmental Solutions Assoc. and American Indoor Quality Counsel.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years Betsy MacUmber of Shortsville.

3 sons Alex, Dave and Zeke Mac Umber. Like a daughter niece Cassi.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Kathleen Dunhaver his brother Patrick Mac Umber and grandfather Fred Donaldson Sr.
