Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at The Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 Am at the United Church of Phelps with the Rev. Shirley Filiatreau officiating.

Nancy was born on May 6, 1942 in Bossier City, Louisiana, the daughter of Virgil and Edra M. Dawson Dorgan. She worked for the Newark Developmental Center and was a cashier for the Phelps P&C. Nancy retired from the Ontario County Jail as a corrections officer. She was a devoted grandmother and enjoyed making crafts and sewing. She handmade 90% of her Christmas gifts that were very special to receive.

It is suggested that contributions be made to one’s favorite charity.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years David G. White of Phelps
