Friends may call on Monday from 2-4 and 6-9P.M. at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday December 12, at 7P.M. in the Midlakes High School Auditorium with the Rev. James Knarr officiating.

It is requested that memorial donations be made to the Darfur Fund or the Nicole Elizabeth Laraby Memorial Scholarship Fund both are C/O Midlakes High School Route 488 Clifton Springs, NY 14432.

Nicole was born on March 4, 1989 in Geneva, New York the daughter of Scott and Sherie VanHout Laraby. Nicole was a Senior at Midlakes High School was a member of the Midlakes Ski Club and a counselor for the youth to youth club. Nicole, a warm hearted adventurous young lady, was very giving and so full of life. Nicole was involved with the Darfur Project at Midlakes which collected penny’s from students to help the children in the province of Darfur in Africa. She enjoyed dancing, music and art. Her goal was to attend the Art Institute of Pittsburg. On the morning of her accident Nicole was very excited to see the snow because she lived for snowboarding.

Nicole is survived by her parents Scott Laraby and her mother and best friend Sherie Laraby of Phelps.

Scott Laraby Jr. of Rochester and sister Erin Laraby of Detroit Michigan.

Grandmother Joyce VanHout

Numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister Megan Laraby who died in 2001.
