John J. Irwin

Waterloo, John J. Irwin age 62, passed away on Monday June 17, 2024 at home with his family.

Friends may call on Thursday (June 20) from 4-6pm at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral services will follow at 6PM.

It is requested that memorial donations be made in memory of John to DAV (Disabled American Veterans) 400 Fort Hill Road Canandaigua, NY 14424.

John was born on February 8, 1962 in Lyons, NY the son of the late Francis and Virginia Green Irwin. John worked for West Rock Manufacturing in Camillus, NY. He was an avid DIRT fan and enjoyed country music. He was a sports enthusiast. He also served as an Army Reservist. John was a "Big Kid" at heart with a witty sense of humor.
John was a family man who felt his life was complete with the birth of his son John. He supported and coached his son in all of the sports that he played.

John is survived by his wife of 25 years Alice Irwin of Waterloo
