Santa Couse

Santa Marie Couse age 84, passed away on her birthday on, February 21, 2026 at Seneca Nursing and Rehab in Waterloo.

Friends may call on Saturday (March 7) from 10am-Noon at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street, Phelps.
Private burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

Santa was born on February 21, 1942 in Geneva, NY the daughter of the late Salvatore and Gertrude LeGrette Beniamino. She was a member of St. Francis Church in Phelps. Santa loved being snowbirds with her husband Loren. She was a member of the Red Hats in Phelps and Florida. She loved playing cards and spending time with her family. Santa also enjoyed babysitting for all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Laura (Tim) Levandoski of Palmyra

David (Diana) Couse of Waterloo
Grandchildren, Kori (Brad), Stevi (Vinny), Ryan (Sydni), Melanie (Ray), and Nathan
Great-grandchildren, Avery, Kloey, Jax, Evelynn, Keetan, Levi, Mila, Layla, Kennedy and Gunner
